Why is this not an option for Mirror jobs? I have some VMs i want to mirror to another Remote while others not so much.

Having tags would make this a lot easier to manage. So you dont have to re-edit the mirror job to add or remove a vm to be mirrored.

I think it can wait until XO6.

I dont have sperate test servers at the office so if I need to spin up a test machine i may want to back it up for testing but not to cloud backup as its only test. Tagging would make this easy since you have tagging implanted.

As a work around i could create separate backup jobs for those less important vms.

We pushed back these deceision until mirror were more widely used .

( easiest way would be to use always the last tags. )

To be fair, If possible I would prefer to wait for XO6 , the backup form in XO5, is quite complex to modify

it's either MANUAL selection, or ALL vms.

Mirror is a different breed. You will mirror everything, with a different retention or schedule. But AFAIK, it's not meant to pick only some VMs.

Where in Mirror backup jobs is that?

I can only mirror all vms or select from a list. Which means i have to edit this job every time i need to add a new vm or remove an old vm.
