<![CDATA[API authentication token permissions]]>Hi!

As of now, I need to give my API users admin privileges to read host statistics. It would be useful to have a less privileged user role for this as we really don't want all API users to have full admin.

Is this on the roadmap?

FYI, ACL V2 / RBAC is now available in the REST API.

You can create a privilege that only give you read privilege on your host.
You can see the RBAC doc.

So I would say this year at least 😛 It's in our (soon published) roadmap in the "Next" section, just after the "now".

  • You already can use our openAPI for Prometheus to scrap and have permissions managed in Grafana 🙂
