Currently, my production infrastructure is running on VMware ESXi (v8.0.3), and I would like to set up a cluster of two XCP-ng servers for my BCP. I want to back up all my VMs from VMware to XCP-ng once a day.

I saw that there is a Veeam plugin to back up to XCP-ng servers, but it is still in beta, and I would rather wait for the first stable release.

I have already looked at the integrated “Import from VMware” feature, but it seems to be a manual backup process. I did not find any option to schedule it automatically.

Did I miss something regarding the import functionality? Or does anyone know of an alternative to the Veeam plugin currently in beta?

Thank you.
