      @Gheppy

      I would have done those operation, if i wouldn't loose connection to xcp-ng.
      I got only 1 IP address which is dedicated to pfsense, and from there i connect to xcp-ng (LAN side).

      Maybe it's possible to create a delay for autostart VM parameter, like 0 seconds start instantly, 60 seconds - to delay VM autostart.
      I guess this will be useful for those who have slow HDDs and lots of VMs starting all at the same time.

      @lukasz_s

      If your Windows system restarts with no issues, you can try and go to Control Panel - File History - System Image Backup and create a copy of your system. Then create a new VM on 8.2 and Restore it there

    • Weird XO continuous replication issue

      Hi all.

      I had a continouos replication task, copying VMs from one xcp-ng server to another.
      One night during copying some error occured, and the VM was not fully copied to server #2, so it was in kinda "XO importing..." state. Originannly this VM had "Auto power on" enabled on server #1, so upon copying this feature stayed turned on, and when i restarted the xcp-ng server#2 i coudn't gain access to it, because my pfsense VM was unable to start (lack of memory). Somehow this faulty VM was starting before pfsense VM (even though it shouldn't start at all - it's a cont.replication), taking necessary RAM and preventing my pfsense VM to start.
      The only way to solve this was via gaining direct access to the server#2 and turning autostart off/deleting the faulty VM.
      I guess the autostart attribute is removed after the VM is successfully copied which in my case didn't happen

      @olivierlambert
      Of course i will try that, but can't install 8.0 on production pc yet. Will wait for 8.0 release.
      I just posted this issue, so maybe you or someone will try to do CR 7.6 -> 8.0RC1 and see if the issue still exists.

      P.S. just checked. the other way from 8 to 7.6 CR is working fine.
      Also copying VM from 7.6 to 8 is working. - problem with CR 7.6 -> 8

    • RE: XCP-ng 8.0.0 Release Candidate

      Got another issue with RC1:

      I got 2 xcp ng servers. 1st at home on 8.0rc1 and 2nd remote on 7.6
      When i had at home 7.6 (before upgrade) my continuous replication task in XOA was working fine. Every night copying VM to home server.
      After upgrading to 8.0RC1 XOA starts copying. I can see [importing....] in xcp center, but after transfering the file, xoa ends with error XOA.JPG
      I thought i had a problem with iscsi drive, connected to xcp, but i also tried copying to my main sr (nvme) and got the same error.

      kern.log.txt

      Kern log file shows that it booted at that time, at least i don't see any errors. (file attached)
      It looks like it was just reset and started booting, but i doubt there was an electricity outage, as my xcp is powered by ippon back basic 1050.
