XCP-ng 8.1 - Release Candidate

Release Mar 6, 2020

The Release Candidate for XCP-ng 8.1 is available for testing. If this version meets our quality standard, XCP-ng 8.1 should be ready for production before the end of the month.

⚠: Remember, even if the release candidate is relatively reliable, you should not use it in a production environment.

However, if you have a test lab or hosts that you can risk upgrading, knowing that it's already working well for many people since beta release, then testing and giving feedback is a very useful way to contribute back to the project!

How to upgrade

XCP-ng 8.1 is a minor upgrade from 8.0, which means you can use the yum upgrade method (from 8.0 only!), OR download the ISO file which works for upgrading any previous release.

Refer to the full announcement for upgrade instructions.

Provide your feedback

If you have feedback to provide during your tests (negative as well as positive) you can do it in this dedicated forum thread.
