      Hi everyone,

I've just started dabbling in using XCP-NG and XO for my lab, and in the process have moved from XOA to XO. I didn't expect many differences between the two, but least of all that I expected was some minor stability issues (seems to have settled down now) and performance issues. When I say performance issues, I mean when I'm adjusting settings or adding tags etc, it regularly takes between 10 and 30 seconds for the change to show up properly. I'm not sure if this is a difference in how they're intended or an issue with my configuration, or if it's simply that my hardware isn't enough to handle the increased load of running it in a full VM.

Hardware is an Intel i5-10210U with 16GB of RAM, VM is Debian 12 with KDE, running on 4vCPUs and 4GB RAM, and I followed Tom Lawrence's guide for getting XO set up with the XenOrchestraInstallerUpdater script; happy to provide any other details as needed, though depending on what I may need an assist to know how to get it if it's software or configuration related, as I'm more comfortable with hardware than software.

As an added note, I've had some issues where the login credentials have been resetting when the VM has crashed and/or I've needed to do a hard power off of the host; not sure if that's partially because the VM hasn't properly saved things, or if there's something else I'm missing to get those to save, so any assistance there would be appreciated as well if there's something I can do to fix it.

Much appreciation to anyone with suggestions, explanations, or advice.

      Regards,
      Josh
