@dariosplit if your system does not backup correctly your customers VMs AND your customers would be ransomwered you instantly understood the value of backup support, like any other support that covers any critical part of your infrastructure.

@allootikeechaat maintaining a complete independent fork is a very time and money consuming project

@olivierlambert my idea is that soon or later citrix will close all the XenServer's development.
Clear signs of it is keeping long awaited feature like thin provision closed source.
If this thing will become true xcp would turn itself in a independent fork in order to continue its life.
