can we use official ubuntu cloud images

Can we use the official cloud images available here?
https://cloud-images.ubuntu.com/jammy/current/
if yes, then what file extension do we download to import?
-
I would think the one with the .OVA extension.
-
where do i put the downloaded cloud image to use as template in xen-orchestra?
jammy-server-cloudimg-amd64.ova

I believe that you need to import the OVA in XO. You can convert it to a template once that's done.

thanks!

@encryptblockr hope to try the same with their even smaller "CORE" images. There is not an .OVA download but .xz downloads that when expanded have .img .
https://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-core/22/stable/current/ubuntu-core-22-amd64.img.xz
and
https://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-core/22/stable/current/ubuntu-core-22-amd64+intel-iot.img.xz
cloud-init seems to require experimentation and these small images boot quickly for me.
Are you then following Fohdeesha's instructions?
