      Hi,

hopefully some here has an idea about how to resolve this...and sorry in advance if this is the wrong topic.

I've added a PCIe SATA Controller with 2 Disks to my Server running XCP-NG 8.2,
      succesfully ran the commands
      "/opt/xensource/libexec/xen-cmdline --set-dom0 "xen-pciback.hide=(01:00.0)""
      "xe vm-param-set other-config:pci=0/0000:01:00.0 uuid=xxxx"
and was able to start the VM.

Now after rebooting the XCP-NG Host, due to a different issue, the VM wont start with the error:
"Internal error: xenopsid internal error: Cannot_add(0000:01:00.0,Xenctrlext.Unix_error(4,"16:Device or resource busy"))"

I've already tried removing the Device from ther VM(Succefully) and also removing the Hideback entry.
Sadly after rebooting the Host the Device still shows up under "xl pci-assignable-list".

"xl pci-assignable-remove 01:00.0" throws the following error:
      "libxl: error: libxl_pci.c:854:libxl__device_pci_assignable_remove: failed to de-quarantine 0000:01:00.0"

Has anyone seen this error before? Any idea how this can be fixed?
The PCIe DEvice in question is "SATA controller: ASMedia Technology Inc. Device 1064 (rev 02)"

      Thanks alot.

Are you sure this controller isn't used by something else?

@Dominic3 Hi, I'm having the same issue. Were you able to receive a solution to this in any capacity?

The message made it clear: the device is also used by something else.
