Hi' there,
rclone is a tool to synchronize (or mount) your datas to common drive hosters (like S3, Gdrive, and many others) : https://rclone.org/
Is support mounting and crypting data.
I'm currently testing it.
I mount a gdrive on /backups/ and tried to backup some vms. It fails because i had to use some cache on local XO and if the VM is too big it fails. So it fails a lot.
I've to read and learn more from rclone but it seems be a nice solution in addition with XO (you've to mount a local remote)
Problem is here : https://forum.rclone.org/t/xen-orchestra-ebadf-bad-file-descriptor-write/13104
And from rclone doc :
Limitations
Without the use of â--vfs-cache-modeâ this can only write files sequentially, it can only seek when reading. This means that many applications wonât work with their files on an rclone mount without â--vfs-cache-mode writesâ or â--vfs-cache-mode fullâ. See the File Caching section for more info
Well, okay, it looks a little wobbly, but anyway.
Who else using this ? Who want to test it ?
Finaly, i'm trying the trick "boot rescue, use qemu and boot xcp-ng iso and install on local drive" and pray for ping on reboot
(2000 ping, 0% ok right now ^^)
I'm fucked because I'm in 7.6?
edit: Well in fact i'm on a 7.7.1908
yum downgrade centos-release doesn't do anything
edit: may trying that thing : https://github.com/hetzneronline/installimage

Re: Experimental update of CentOS packages
Hi there
As @stormi said in an old topic
The packages are synced with CentOS 7.5 for now, but CentOS 7.6 has been released so expect another update.
Well i'm expecting that repo for CentOS 7.6, is it alive ?
My only choices here are :
edit : forgot to tell you that a i got an online.net box without KVM, just discovered that.
Got only CentOS 7.6 and 8.0 available (closest to XS/xcp)
