All hosts restart, xoa vm restart, host unavailable during xoa start = missed backup
-
Long story short, all servers restarted, the server with xoa vm booted faster than the rest of the servers, the result was that xoa had some servers in "disconnected" state, and the the backups were not made. I think the problem is that xoa is not trying to "reconnect" to disconected servers periodically, which would mitigate this issue.

Are you up-to-date? We fixed this behavior 2 releases ago
-
Huh, host are up to date. Any idea what to check to find the root cause for this situation?
-
Not your hosts, your Xen Orchestra.
-
Yes, all up to date - Current version: 5.34.0
-
@akurzawa hi, if you are using XO from sources latest version is 5.40
-
-
So in the end, if it's an uptodate version, it means the host is disconnected and XOA failed to reconnect (our code is that XO tries indefinitely to reconnect, because it gave up after a time)

So I suppose @akurzawa is using XOA
Ture. And after few months with it I have to admin that I was wrong. Xoa is superior product. Windows xcp-center is ok for start or basic usage.
