Hey has anyone had a issues where host.call_plugin would run for hours at a time? It is preventing other tasks from from running like VDI coalesce.

It's normal and it's not a problem at all.

Really I only have it happening to one of our pools, and that pool is only getting 8-10 VDI to coalesce a day. My other pools run host.call_plugin but not continuously. and when I say hours I mean 8-12 hours before finishing and starting again

As I said, host call plugin is just when an external program (like XO) is calling XAPI plugin.

It's not related to coalesce at all. Except if you send yourself those calls, but IDK what client are you using and what are you doing with it.

I disabled the XOA server and it still running the XOA was not running any jobs and I was trying to do anything. Would XCP Center keep the Host.call_plugin running?

It could, I don't know what XCP-ng Center can do in details. But again, this is NOT a problem.

I said it 3 times, why do you think it's still related to your coalesce problems?
