      Hi
I had been using XenServer for a few years and just upgraded a couple of servers to xcp-ng 8.1. I must tell that the upgrade from XS 8.1 to XCP-NG was REALLY easy and went very well 🙂

I thus upgraded an older server, fresh install this time. I now would want to create a cluster, on which VM's would be able to move back & forth. I believe this is what pools are for.

But I cant seem to see how to do that.... I've looked at the documentation with no success !

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

      J.

See my past reply on a similar topic -- https://xen-orchestra.com/forum/post/6745

Remember that the host that is being moved into a pool will have it's local storage "cleared", so any existing VMs should be migrated before the host is joined to the pool.

Thanks for the help - found the icon Add Host (after a lot of searching 🙂 )
