      Dear Community,

Any hints what might trigger following issue when I try to create proxy inside XO (please check attached screenshot below).
XO is installed by following https://xen-orchestra.com/docs/installation.html#from-the-sources instructions.

Most likely I'm doing something wrong, since I couldn't find anything similar from the forum search.

      Operating system information:

      • OS = Debian 10 (Buster)
      • Node version = v16.14.2

      Thank you in advance!

      Br,
      Aki

This is expected. See for example: https://xcp-ng.org/forum/topic/3951/is-xo-proxy-available-in-community-version/5?_=1649088214690

It is possible to build proxy manually and even attach it to XO (with somewhat limited functionality) but there is no documented procedure yet at least.

You have a transparent proxy, it does not hide its identity, so web resources see that the request is not coming directly from the user but from the proxy. In addition, the real IP address is also visible, so there is no anonymity. Usually, educational institutions use this type of server to filter incoming and outgoing content and cache information. It's better to use thailand proxy, which will encrypt you from the inside.
