    Warm migration not work

      Hi i have a problem with warm migration
      When i try migrate in XO from vmware i always for first try have communication like this:
      "Can't import delta of a running VM without its parent vdi"
      when i try again the migration starting but they shutdown the machine on vmware and do this offline
      nothing change if i have mark "stop the source VM" or not

        @OskarNTT Can you please provide a bit more detail about what you have tried?

        The logs relevant for the migration:-

        • The ESXi Host logs
        • Xen Orchestra logs (especially those relevant to the migration process).
        • VM boot logs

        Also what version of ESXi are you attempting to migrate from?

        What's your licensing level of VMware ESXi are you currently on with the migration source hosts?

        What's the VMFS used by the datastores reported on the ESXi hosts?

        Are you running Xen Orchestra from Sources and/or Xen Orchestra Appliance and what version(s) or commit?

        When using VMware ESXi Free or Essentials editions certain features are missing such as automatic power down of VM. Also please note that support to migrate from VMware vSphere is a work in progress.

        Without this extra information it is a bit difficult for anyone to be able to help you with this problem.

        @lawrencesystems Wouldn't you agree this extra information would be helpful?
