XO - Continuous Replication - unable to migrate

I have an issue that I'm trying to figure out. I have 2 hosts setup as 2 separate pools. I have a continuous replication job setup to store a 2nd copy of "critical" vms on the opposite pool/host. The issue is on occasion I need to migrate all vms to 1 host (for patching). I am unable to migrate the machines that have the replication job as I receive a duplicate mac seed error due. As a workaround I have to delete the replicated vm and then migrate the live vm.
Is this working as designed?
