      Hey Boys and Girls,

      Got a bit of a problem that I hope someone can help with.

      I have a HP DL380 Gen8 running XCP-ng 8.1.0, single node that sits in a cupboard and just does it's job, never gets rebooted.... Till today.

      Normal boot process is giving errors when trying to upgrade the processor microcode. I found two similar posts (here and here) but neither of those two solutions seem to be helping here.

      Tried

      yum downgrade microcode_ctl-2:2.1-26.xs10.xcpng8.1.x86_64

      and plugging a USB keyboard in. Also looked at the "dis_ucode_ldr" option but wasn't totally sure which line / where to stick that in the boot options.

      Safe mode boots fine so that's a positive but obviously I can't start VM's in safe mode.

      HELP!!!
