I know we can snapshot VMs in XO Lite, but is there actually a way to revert a VM to a particular snapshot in the XO Lite GUI? I can't seem to find that function. Is it CLI only, Xen Orchestra notwithstanding?

@fdhabhar XO Lite isn't meant to be the complete tool to restore a VM from. It appears it does allow you to create a snapshot, but snapshots are the whole backup.

Is there a reason you're unable to use XO (Community or Appliance)?

@DustinB In my case, the XO Community installation is itself a VM on XCP-NG. I just want a safety net in case an update to my XO install goes haywire. Instead of relying on snapshots of XO I've just been cloning the XO VM instance monthly, and running XO updates using ronivay's script weekly. So far it's been smooth sailing- just doing my due diligence in case anything hits the fan.

I'm not positive, but this may be available RSN in xo-lite.
