migrated centos 7 from kvm or esx drops a lot of network packets (centos 8 / ubuntu is fine)

weird issue,
migrating a centos 7 vm and we have a lot of dropped packets, when dealing with centos 8. ubuntu or windows server we do not have any issue
a newly build centos 7 is also fine
I tried both network cards (intel / realtek) but its still dropping packets

Double check if you have tools enabled and/or Xen PV drivers.

@olivierlambert said in migrated centos 7 from kvm or esx drops a lot of network packets (centos 8 / ubuntu is fine):
Xen PV drivers

Xen tools version 8.0
OS name CentOS Linux release 7.7.1908 (Core)
OS kernel 3.10.0-1062.12.1.el7.x86_64 -
Check
dmesg
