Backups/VM Migrations Slow

We have our VM and XO instance setup on 10GB NICs and we are currently getting about 250mbs speed when copying VMs between hosts.
The disk usage on the host isn't high.
Our XO instance is on Ubuntu and is running the guest tools.
Any help would be appreciated!

What method exactly are you using? I would say it's normal if you are using copy (streaming/piping export into import on destination, using XVA format)

@olivierlambert My method today was a disaster recovery va Backups in XO. I did it yesterday with a clone to another host.
Is there a better way I should be doing it?

Use CR instead of DR then, it will send only the diff to the other host, so it will be faster.
