      Good morning,
I have scheduled daily snapshots using XO but I don't see any field to limit the maximum number of snapshots. Also, do you know how to limit the maximum number of via XO or XO CLI snapshots?
      Thanks in advance,
      Best regards,
      Laurent Cournède

I think I'm in the wrong section (Jobs's section) and I need to go to the backup section to configure this (like Rolling Snapshot). So thank you very much for your answer and have a nice day,

          Hi!

Not sure to get it. The limit is defined by the retention number.

            Hi,
Yes, that's exactly what I'm looking for but I didn't see any retention field in the snapshots form of XO. So maybe this setting (retention number) is accessible via the XO command line?
            Thank you for your reply.

When you create your snapshot backup job, there's a "schedule" section when you create a new schedule (when/how often the job is run). It's in that schedule section that you can define the retention (the max number of snap to keep).

That's right: what you need is in the backup section, not jobs 🙂 Happy to help, have a nice day too!
