We are in the process of updating our hardware.
After reading this post - https://xcp-ng.org/forum/topic/7772/xcp-ng-xo-at-vates
I changed a few things with what need.
A couple questions on setup. Does anyone know if there is a guide on setting up something like this?
Also with XO can you run 2 XO instances and have them synced to each other in case one goes down you have an alternative one to use?

Setup will be at 2 sites
      Server configuration x4 or x6 - 2 / 3 at each site.
      1U system
      AMD 48C min x1
      512GB Memory
      RAIDController x 1
      2TB SSD x 2
Quad Port 1GbE Network Daughter Card x 1
      Dual Port 10GbE SFP+ Network Adapter x 2
Remote Console Access, Power Control, and ISO Mounting x 1
      Sliding Rails x 1

Storage Configuration x2 - 1 at each site (most likely TrueNAS OS)
2U system w/24 drive slots min
      Intel Processor 22C min x 2
      256GB Memory
      RAID Controller x 1
      4TB NVMe drives x 12
Quad Port 1GbE Network Daughter Card x 1
      Dual Port 10GbE SFP+ Network Adapter x 2
Remote Console Access, Power Control, and ISO Mounting x 1
      Sliding Rails x 1

      Storage Configuration
VM storage - 10 disks mirrored (20TB usable)
      Backups - 2 disks RAID0 (8TB useable)
Backups will be daily backups local and bi-weekly at alternate site

Thanks ahead of time for any feedback on this.

I cdon't know about a guide anywhere to set it up but I can say that there is definitely nothing wrong with running two XO instances. I have XOA and an XO community edition running in the same pool. I always make sure if I am about to do a big change that my XOA and my XOCE are on different hosts. And tbh its mostly because Im not as comfortable in the CLI with xe commands. But there were at least two times where this came in handy. Especially during my initial build stage as I broke everything twice. the XOCE saved me from having to try and start over on my XOA.

As far as I know you can't "sync" them. You can however pull a config off one and restore it to another one. You just have to remember to do that anytime you make changes to XO. Also you don't want two XO's with backup jobs enabled. Another downside is that if you give them both all the same resources it will look like there are errors in your backups. I vaguely remember it saying "Backup for VM found but no associated job was found" or something. Innocuous error but annoying none the less.

You'd want to setup XO Proxy to manage separate hosts in disperse locations.
