RE: XCP-ng, Hyper-V and VBS
Darn, I thought that might be the case. I have heard it does work with with ESX and Proxmox. I think Proxmox is KVM based, but not 100% sure.
I do hope Xen gets this figured out. This likely isnt a big deal for linux guests, but newer Windows guests (and their related security features) are starting to require this for their advanced security configurations.

XCP-ng, Hyper-V and VBS
I've seen a couple threads referring to nested hyper-v not working with XCP-ng. We're trying to implement Windows VBS (virtualization based security) in our 2019 servers. This apparently uses Hyper-V to achieve this. I've tested some of the settings used in the other threads in effort to get hyper-v to work, but have been unsuccessful at this point.
Just thought I'd check, has anyone had success getting it to run yet?
Thanks

PCI Passthrough with both GPU and USB
I have a fully updated xcp 8.2 running with 2 nvidia quadro rtx 6000s.
GPU passthrough works as expected.
GPU PCI passthrough works as expected.
USB PCI passthrough of an ASMedia controller works as expectedHowever I cannot combine GPU and USB pci passthrough. Starting the vm just hangs. I see no errors, nothing of note in xl dmesg.
I have done this before with KVM on Fedora linux, on the same machine. So I know its not the hardware or bios.
Is there some underlying reason why USB and GPU PCI Passthrough together will not work?

RE: XCP-ng 8.2 updates announcements and testing
Tested new security patches on 8.2.
Network performance seems just fine. Have 4 Windows server 2019 and 2 Fedora Server VMs recording video feed. Haven't observed any difference in performance.
Supermicro SYS-1029U-TR4 with 768gig ram.
Network usage: about 400mbps constant.
