@Marc.pezin said in A list of events which may be worth attending: Hello John, Thanks a lot for sharing this list of events, we’ll take a look and see which ones best fit our audience and objectives. Until now, we’ve mainly focused on events in France or nearby for logistical reasons. In fact, we’ll be at KubeCon + CloudNativeCon in Atlanta next week and it will be our first time in the US. Starting next year, as our sales and marketing teams continue to grow, we plan to expand our international presence and join more events abroad, so your suggestions come at a great time. Thanks again for the recommendations! @Marc.pezin A very good one to target (at minimum), is one of the conferences and trade shows where Bitdefender is attending. They have lots of experience at defending systems against black hats, with their services and products. Especially 0-Day vulnerabilities and malware. A product they develop is designed to defend against malware infections on virtualisation stacks like VMware vSphere, Citrix XenServer and others. If you can meet them during the event, it may give the foundations for a new partnership and/or collaboration!

Thanks to both of you, I adjust accordingly. The strange thing is that, I have an open ticket and the way I've always corresponded with the team is by simply replying to that email and it's always gotten through. This is the first time I've seen that bounce (which suggests a change somewhere). No worries though, I'll just log into the helpdesk portal and add a comment directly to the ticket.
  • What's the difference between XCP-ng and XOA support?

Hi, It's a very good question and that's why we are working on our new "Vates virtualization" bundles: basically, you'll have one pricing for the whole stack (both XCP-ng and XOA together). XOA "alone" support doesn't make sense anymore anyway. That's also why XOA as a standalone product (and XCP-ng) will probably get removed in favor of those new bundles. To answer your question on how it works now until the next months: if there's a problem during a backup because your storage, if there message tells "VDI SNAPSHOT FAILED. This is a XCP-ng error", obviously, you won't be covered because it's likely a storage issue, not a Xen Orchestra issue. If you want to have more info on our future bundle pricing, please contact us for an offer on https://vates.tech/contact/
