      Hi everyone,

Did anyone else notice that built in SR "XCP-ng VM Tools" cannot be seen by XCP-ng Center 25.0.4 ?

      Screenshot from 2025-11-27 09-03-30.png

      • Happens on 8.3 and 8.2, did not test below that...
      • XO sees it and can mount it
      • SR is visible, PBD was not disconnected

Only way for me to get it to work in combo 8.3 + 25.0.4 was to destroy SR and add it from the scratch...

Problem persists months later, even with latest xcpng 8.3 updates (in case it might be related)...

        Annyone else encountered same problem?

@dom0 As said numerous times by the developers: XCPNG Center is not supported. You have to use XO/XOA.

@dom0 As already previously mentioned XCP-ng Center / XenCenter are not officially supported and a third-party product.
It is generally advised to use Xen Orchestra for all administration / management tasks.

If it is a requirement for you to use a thick client (such as XCP-ng Center) you might want to try XenAdminQt: https://github.com/benapetr/XenAdminQt

It is also not officially supported but a very new project that gets updated frequently. Maybe that one works better for you.
