I am testing the Xen Orchestra unlicensed version compiled from the source. running on Linux mint. I want to test a lot of different features and functionality before we start rolling this out to our clients. And of course, our clients will have the paid version so we get tech support in case anything goes wrong. But in the process of testing Xen Orechestra I've run into issues with migrating from a physical machine to a VM. If I try to import a vhd disk it will immediately give me an error message. And if I try to import a vmdk the process will start but then crash 8% into the process. The Local SR Type: lvm. What is the easiest way to accomplish this? I have rename the sample.xo-install.cfg to xo-install.cfg and then ran ./xo-install.sh --update. Thank you for your time.

Please test first with XOA Premium (Free trial, I can extend if needed). This will be easier to see if it's a problem from sources on your install, on a XO issue.

Just deploy XOA, register it and request a trial. You'll be automatically on Premium after an update.

thanks. but that didn't fix the issues. I have now installed a fresh copy of xenserver and a fresh install of XOA that was deployed to the xenserver and activated the trial premium version. Same problem vkdm import freezes at 2%. Also, the xoa vm stop responding. I have to restart the xenserver to remove the incomplete vkdm disk. Both XOA and xenserver are fully patched. Thanks again for your help.
