Hello, I need help with my continuous reps tasks. One of my XOA continuous rep tasks crashes. According to Olivier this would be related to the toolstack restarting. I have 2 Cont Rep tasks setup and the task for the smaller VM executes without a problem while the task associated to the larger one always fail after 30 minutes.. The smaller VM is about 30G and the larger VM that always fails has 2 virtual disks for a total of about 200G. Which logfile should I look? 4-211617985-50cb501e-0dcf-489d-9f3c-0250152c35e0.png

        1. Are you using XOA or XO from the sources? If the latter, check https://xen-orchestra.com/docs/community.html#current-version
        2. 30 min and you have "task has been destroyed before completion"? This message is due to the host doing something at this time. Check the xensource log.

olivierlambert From sources. This setup is part of my personal security lab. I will take a look at xensource log and investigate any issue I could find. Is there a specific message I should look for? It is really strange that backups to my TrueNAS NFS can last for an hour without any issues. 2023-01-10 15_03_33-Window.png

Try to correlate the log at the time you have the message in XO

olivierlambert I will have to reboot my hosts. I discovered that if you "rm xensource.log" just before starting the task (to have a smaller log ) the file is not recreated unless it means that there was nothing to log. Is it possible that I need another log?

              Merci

marclachapelle Hi, sorry for the delay. I had a theory but after tests that theory is wrong.

Here are the files about the incident.
