help with access to XOA
-
Hi,
I have a system with a couple of VMs. The host network was messed up, and as a result I cannot reach XOA on the IP address for which it is assigned. I cannot for the life of me find a way to reset or change the IP.
I figured out the UUID of XOA. If I then try to do xe vif-confgire-ipv4 I get "You attempted an operation on a VM which lacks the feature.
I'm kinda stuck now. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi,
If I'm logged in to the xen server, and I issue: xoa network static, I get: xoa: command not found.
Thanks

@coolmike898 The
xoacommand is available on the XOA VM, not the xcp-ng host. Are you able to connect to XOA via SSH? If not, then you could deploy another instance of XOA, which you can use as a replacement for the original or simply as a way to correct the networking on the original instance of XOA. -
@Danp Yes, this is the problem. I have lost all access to XOA. So, if I deploy a new XOA, will I be able to access my existing VMs?
-
@coolmike898 Yes, you should be able to access your existing VMs once you add the pool master under Settings > Servers in XOA.

@Danp Thank you very much!
