      Re: Vates Supporting OpenTofu (Terraform alternative)

      i saw there's already the above-linked thread, but it's a bit old. has there been any progress on that front? it'd be a boon to xcp-ng's commitment to open source to support opentofu 🙂

        We do support OpenTF initiative. However, we lack the resources now to move forward on this, but I'm adding it into our backlog discussion to see how fast we could do something. If you want to contribute and/or become a maintainer, you are very welcome!

          @olivierlambert what would you need? it seems a bit outside my skillset but i'm inclined to give it a shot 🙂

            I'm not sure, probably need to check first with @ddelnano and/or @shinuza

              @olivierlambert interestingly, someone has added my terraform provider for opnsense (which is just a fork of another provider, it doesn't do anything) without me doing anything.

              it's probably trivial, then, to add your existing terraform provider to opentofu

                @xyhhx well i submitted a provider request:
                https://github.com/opentofu/registry/issues/441

                seems there's not much to do

                xyhhx created this issue in opentofu/registry

                closed Provider: Xen Orchestra Provider #441
