We are looking to run 8.3 on the hardware of a R620. Looking to run a single VM of Windows 11 Tiny. What are my options for good GPU? I assume I can't vGPU, but that would be great. GPU Passthrough is good for us though. Please advise. Thanks!

        Hi,

Good GPU to do what? There's many different GPU usage nowadays, so it's really hard to answer without knowing the "functional target".

Will basically be a test lab for a technician. I'm thinking 1 VM for Windows 11 for the GPU and then the system has 256gb memory to setup other test VM's. I'm not sure exactly how GPUs work in XCP-NG so my answer is probably impossible due to my lack of knowledge.

I'm thinking the machine would basically work like they are setup now where they have 3-4 micro PC's on the desktop running to a KVM. I'm thinking it needs to function something like this...

But why do they need a GPU then? If it's simply basic desktop usage, you don't need any dedicated GPU 🤔

That's a great question....maybe I misunderstood them and they were thinking they were getting a desktop.....LET ME GO CHECK WITH THEM! 🤣

Nevermind!!!!! I got mixed up I guess...they just need enough outputs on their client machine to have more monitors. Sorry for the goose chase!!!!
