I'm wondering if it would be any better by doing a clean installation vs an upgrade ? Would there be any difference ..

In particular I'm thinking about the partitioning of the disk. I know that going to Xenserver 8 from my current XenServer 8.2 (which came from 7.0) has issues with the partitions and cannot do the rolling pool upgrade because of that . (based on Citrix pre-checks).

I'm also wondering how XCP-ng handles this in the upgrade process .. and if XCP-ng can do this why can't Citrix to the same ..

      thanks
