      hi,

I have a pool with 4 servers. Power on mode (wake on lan) was enabled for all of them by default and worked fine.

But now I just noticed that power on mode is greyed out on all servers.
All I did I few days ago is that I changed my pool master from server3 to server4.
Apparently changing pool master disables Wake on Lan. Why?

These are Dell servers, 2 of them with iDRAC and the BIOS settings are right.

      • I tried restarting toolstack: did not work
      • reboot Xen Orchestra: did not work
      • reboot hosts: did not work

Did you update XO as well so that it connects to the new pool master?

I think it automatically connects to the new pool master. As I initiated the pool master change from XO. Where is the option to update it?
I did not update anything and everything works as it should except power on mode.
The XO VM runs on the pool master host.

You would make the change under Settings > Servers. Only the pool master should be listed there.

Only my pool master is there.
Although I made the change in: Home > Pools > "pool1" > Advanced > Master
