Cannot figure out how to past INTO VM

I have created an Ubuntu VM and I have installed the xo integration package. For the life of me, I cannot figure out how to paste into the VM from my workstation.
What I have tried so far is pasting what I need into the box next to the copy icon, clicking the icon, and then attempting to paste into the VM. But that doesn't work. There is nothing on the clipboard to paste.

Not sure how that is actually supposed to work. I just SSH into the VM and copy/paste from there.

I am in the OS GUI and need to paste a 64 char password into a dialog box.

ssh is your best option. That's what we use. Or remote via AnyDesk, Teamviewer or else if you really need GUI.

I have installed RealVNC for remote use. However, I need to enter my username and password. My password is a 64 character randomly generated password. I was hoping to be able to paste it in using the web console. I guess that isn't an option.

Currently there isn't an option to paste from XOA, at least I haven't found one.
