      Is there any people using XCP-ng with Mini PC?

      Im planning to buy Asrock 4x4 Box 4800u later when its available,

      In general how friendly the installer to hardware platform? Any specific reqs?

        Yes, we tested some of them (see https://xcp-ng.org/docs/ecosystem.html#edge-computing ).

        Eager to know what about the Asrock 4x4 Box 4800u

          XCP-ng works on most hardware. I have a (literal) pile of HP ProDesk mini pc's on my desk, stacked on top of a Synology NAS for shared storage. Great little cluster, works perfectly. Only downside is: only one NIC, so you have to shared storage over the same NIC as the normal network.

            Haribo112 You could use USB NICs for additional PIFs if needed to seperate network and backup traffic. This comes at a price, but nevertheless works 😁

              gskger I could. I also have a very janky solution laying around, in the form of a Mini PCIe to PCIe adapter that could replace the ProDesk's Wifi card. I could then plug in a bog standard Intel PRO/1000e Quad Nic card. Haven't got around to trying that though.
