@gskger I could. I also have a very janky solution laying around, in the form of a Mini PCIe to PCIe adapter that could replace the ProDesk's Wifi card. I could then plug in a bog standard Intel PRO/1000e Quad Nic card. Haven't got around to trying that though.

RE: Nested Virtualization - Running ESXi 7.0.0 on XCP-NG 8.1
So never mind then, XCP-NG shows me the latest console output even after the VM shuts off. It clearly says "Unsupported CPU: Intel family 0x06, model 0x1a, stepping 0x5 Intel Core i7 920". Issue resolved; my hardware is ancient.

RE: Netdata is not available on this appliance, please deploy a new one
That updated my Netdata package from 1.23 to 1.26, and now the plugin is working. Thanks!

RE: XOA Quick Deploy
@olivierlambert I know this topic is quite old, but I'm having this problem as well. My XCP-ng version is 8.2.0 and one additional detail is that I already have an XO from sources instance running on this pool. I just wanted to install the official free XOA to check out what it offers and what it doesn't.
Both the Quick Deploy button on the webpage of the host, and the Deploy form on the XO website don't work.

RE: UEFI Setting on VM for nested virtualization?
@xcp-ng-justgreat I will try that sequence. Obviously, Virtualization Extensions are detected by Windows, or else I wouldn't be able to install the Hyper-V role at all. The CPU performance tab of task manager does not show what you indicated, as it already says "Virtual machine: yes" in that location.
Honestly I'm considering rebuilding my homelab as a Hyper-V cluster, but that sucks too because realistically you need a domain controller for that to function properly.

RE: UEFI Setting on VM for nested virtualization?
I'm currently struggling with the same problem; running Windows Server 2019 on XCP-ng 8.1.0 . I changed the settings hinted at by @XCP-ng-JustGreat but it did not work.

RE: XCP-ng + Mini PC setup
XCP-ng works on most hardware. I have a (literal) pile of HP ProDesk mini pc's on my desk, stacked on top of a Synology NAS for shared storage. Great little cluster, works perfectly. Only downside is: only one NIC, so you have to shared storage over the same NIC as the normal network.

Netdata is not available on this appliance, please deploy a new one
Getting this error, even though my XOA is much newer than the launch date of Netdata. Could this have something to do with missing pool patches? I currently have 5 patches available, but don't have downtime available to install them. Could this cause the error with Netdata plugin, or is there a different problem?

Okay I set up the IP authorization part, but can I specify anywhere that I want to run the backup as user X ?

Specify a username and password for XOA backups
Hi, I'm trying to set up my NFS remote for backups in XOA but I'm not able to specify a username and password. I'd rather not have to squash all users to root on my Synology NAS; how can I set this up with a username and password?
