        I for one wish xcp-ng had a LTSR track. This pace is overwhelming. Constant upgrades of critical infrastructure is not my idea of "fun".

          @revtel as long as xcp is based on xs cr it follows the same release cycle

            @revtel

            Def agree on that!

            A quick comparison of 7.5 v 7.6 cfg limits shows no change.

            Wondering what version of Xen and Linux kernel they are using?

              @allootikeechaat maintaining a complete independent fork is a very time and money consuming project

                Understood. I think serious consideration should be given to running the LTSR as well as the CR. If xcp wants to attract larger organizations (we are small but still like stability over features) the LTSR track is the way to go. Perhaps when we get to xenserver 8.x there will be another LTSR that could be considered.

                    The new name of XenServer has become Citrix Hypervisor.

                          @stormi, what is your fair exstimation of the time it'll take to porting?
                          I guess this'll be lower and lower as new releases come out.

                            @maxcuttins I don't know yet how much time will be needed, but yes, this should be really faster than 7.5.

                              We'll see if we can follow next XS LSTR with security updates.

                              In the meantime we'll provide a minimum support for the N-1 release when release N is out, so 7.5 will keep getting security updates when 7.6 is out (but not bugfixes, with a few exceptions maybe).

                                          @borzel thank you for new update and sorry for my bad english.

                                          I have a freebsd vm which imported an ovf. I can't install xentool in it. This is ok and not problem for me. so no migrate option if i'm right click to this vm. like this: 0_1537426449553_c203c76d-8f49-4979-9e42-ae1d2c3b806a-resim.png

                                          i can migrate this vm without problem if i use xe command in cli with force parameter. Also i can migrate this vm by XO like other vm's.

                                          Can you add new force migrate option to vm's like this which xen-tools not installed?

                                          Thank you again.
