Does OpenStack still work with XCP-NG? Their doc's seem to say no, but I just wanted to see why, and if there is a work around, aside from running XEN on its own.

OpenStack + XAPI worked but I don't know the current status. I know that OpenStack creator (Rackspace) still use XenServer with OpenStack on top. At some point, I assume it is.

@olivierlambert OpenSpace was developed with NASA.

That's correct: NASA asked for a solution and Rackspace worked with them to create it 🙂 See https://www.rackspace.com/library/what-is-openstack

@olivierlambert Any new info on support for XCP-NG by openstack?
Since openstack supports Xen Project can we assume XCP-NG is supported by default?

                Same old answer applies:

We made a connecting application to accept calls from OpenStack and managed XCP-NG. We will maybe release a version of it at some point, but for now it is too central within our own tech stacks to be public.

                    Thanks for the responses.
After reviewing my actual needs and use cases, I decided to go with Cloudstack and XCP-NG.

I would say: good call 🙂 We have a very good relationship with the biggest contributor (Shapeblue).

By whom? Again, this is more a question for OpenStack than us, since we are the layer under, not on top of it.
