Yes, this does the same thing as scrolling my mouse. Is it possible to implement this in the VM consoles?

@olivierlambert No, that just recalls the last commands. If you actually scroll with your mouse wheel on the host console it will show the screen above what's currently visible. Like if you run yum updates and there are 100 updates, you might only be able to see that the last couple were installed because all the other ones went off the top of the screen... if you scroll your mouse you can see the previous screens. Does that make sense at all?
I see that when we're on the host's console screen we can use the mouse to scroll up to previous commands and such.
Is there a way to implement this into guest consoles?
@csi-laser I've had problems where the XOA install doesn't get an IP address, or it doesn't match whatever the CLI installer says anyway.
Check and see if there is a new VM on your host and check that the network interface is connected, then go in the VM and ip a
I think the simplest way to just do this once is to go to Settings > Config
, there you can export the backup. Once you create your new instance of XOCE, you can import the backup using the same page, then just logout of the default user, and you can login using your old credentials. Make sure to delete the admin@admin.net account after.

No issues in the 2 weeks since upgrading to beta and all updates between.

Planning on testing soon. Haven't had much time at home lately to mess with the lab.
Thanks for all the hard work!

Thanks for reply; this command is not working - IDK if I really want to go and start installing missing packages in xoa... any other way to change time zone?
[08:44 14] xoa@xoa:~$ sudo dpkg-reconfigure tz-data [sudo] password for xoa: dpkg-query: package 'tz-data' is not installed and no information is available Use dpkg --info (= dpkg-deb --info) to examine archive files, and dpkg --contents (= dpkg-deb --contents) to list their contents. /usr/sbin/dpkg-reconfigure: tz-data is not installed
maybe do a feature request on github?

I can't believe this is even a thing. How much time are people spending on this screen?! lol
