Best Practices XO Location
Should XO be installed inside of a pool or on a separate host?
Currently, we have three servers in an HA pool with shared storage. We will continue to expand this beyond one pool, but would it be better to install XO on its own host or inside the pool?

Thanks everyone! I’ll let you know if we have any issues.

RE: Supermicro and RAID
@DustinB We will be using shared storage as well for all of our storage. We will only have a couple on board disk doing Raid 1 for XCP. Glad to hear you haven't had any issues. Did you have to load any outside drivers before install?

RE: Supermicro and RAID
@DustinB That is correct. That was the hope but not necessarily a requirement.

Supermicro and RAID
We are looking at moving to Supermicro for a new server build and are having issues confirming card compatibility for hardware raid. What are the options? I don't see any Supermicro controllers listed on xen hardware compatibility.
This is what we were looking at. https://www.supermicro.com/en/products/accessories/addon/AOC-S3908L-H8IR_S3916L-H16IR.php

RE: Backups/VM Migrations Slow
@olivierlambert My method today was a disaster recovery va Backups in XO. I did it yesterday with a clone to another host.
Is there a better way I should be doing it?

Backups/VM Migrations Slow
We have our VM and XO instance setup on 10GB NICs and we are currently getting about 250mbs speed when copying VMs between hosts.
The disk usage on the host isn't high.
Our XO instance is on Ubuntu and is running the guest tools.
Any help would be appreciated!

Windows Time Sync
We have 2019 servers on XCP 7.6. They are running about 2 minutes behind what the XCP host is showing. XCP is syncing with NTP and is correct. When I check what server windows is using to sync, it says LOCAL CMOS. I have the Xen Agent Running. What can I do to correct this?
