How to determine if VM is a fast clone i XO/A?
Maybe XOA could inform with some graphic sign/text that this VS is a fast clone? -
Hmm I wonder what would be the easiest way to detect that. It's not that trivial, I think we must "compute" the chain to see if it's the case
It's a good idea anyway
Can you create an issue on XO GitHub repo? -
I hope it "Does compute" afterall
issue is there. -
@olivierlambert
Is this resolved maybe? I would also need to determine if guest was fast clone or full copy. -
It's doable manually: get the current VM disk UUID and inspect for its parents

-
@olivierlambert can this info be moved to XOA interface?
-
Probably, but every new bit of UI improvement will be done directly on XO6, otherwise we'll never have enough manpower to switch to the new UI

-
btw when the x6 will be released? what's the approximate time?
-
"When it's done". Not next release, hopefully first beta before September

-
@olivierlambert Please any update on this?

Hi,
I answered in the GH issue. Please don't try to duplicate requests on multiple places.
