      I have a certain VM that keeps failing during backup. It has always worked in the past. I'm attaching a screen shot of the error. Any help would be appreciated.

        What version XCP-ng are you running? Is there any removable device (usb/dvd) attached to the VM?

          I am currently running version 8.1. Yes I had a USB in the machine. I removed it and I'm currently retrying the backup. I totally forgot I had put the usb in a few weeks back. How did you know it could be that?

          The job completed after the USB was removed.

              Good call 🙂 What about adding a section in our doc about this? (so next time we can find it without relying on @tony experience only 😉 )

                I submitted a change request for https://xen-orchestra.com/docs/backup_troubleshooting.html on github as suggested.
