      I was thinking.

Do virtual machines on XCP-ng utilize USB filters like Oracle Virtual Box does? On both the client app for Windows and the web interface?

Because I was thinking of possibly using a Wi-Fi or Ethernet dongle plugged into the VM to connect to the internet while I keep the machine I'm using to access my VM strictly offline.

My internet connection would be kept isolated to the virtual machine.

AFAIK, you have to do manual passthrough for USB so if you want to attach ethernet dongle to a VM, you plug it in the host and turn off the VM, passthrough the USB to the VM, start the VM, never do snapshot of this VM as it will fail.
