      Hi guys,

I have a quick question. In XO i have noticed that there is a option for Protect from accidental shutdown what is this protecting ? would this protect the VM so if the iSCSI Network goes offline the VM will not be damaged ?

      Thanks.

      Jack.

It's protecting it from accidental shutdown (if you click on "shutdown" for this VM).

If you are using iSCSI and your network is down, you won't be able to write anything in the VM, it's unrelated and there's nothing we can do about it 🙂

olivierlambert Ok cool, iSCSI is on its own Network on a Direct connection with Multipathing. In the past i have had problems with VMs going in Read Only Mode.

          Thanks for your reply.

          🙂
