If you should come with a highly insecure guess - when would you estimate that we see the first 8.3 alpha/beta release

First alpha next week probably. Also consider 8.3 as a base for new stuff, not directly embedding a lot of new things for the official release
But since it won't be an LTS, it will be easier to make changes there! -
I wanted to see how were looking for a final release of 8.3?

I'm hoping you make the same jumps from beta to RC to production, in the same timescale you did with 8.2.
You then managed to go from Beta via RC to Release in only 6 weeks!

Our latest update train should provide full vTPM support or close to that (even for migration/snapshot). It's 8.3 beta 2. See https://xcp-ng.org/forum/post/68789
