      You'll need a bigger HDD, that is likely the issue. I have a 2022 VM running just fine without any issues so it should be totally possible.

        So I have tried installing with 32GB Ram, 128GB Hard drive, but it always fails during the "Getting files ready for installation" step. Everything just freezes.

          @Gadende Did you check the ISO integrity with the hash or a bare metal install to verify that the ISO is working?

            @gskger This is a good question, I'd definitely validate it elsewhere. I've had absolutely zero issues with 2022 being installed.

              @gskger I did check the hash, but upon some other research, I have found that the issue is most likely the server itself, I am using a ProLiant DL360 Gen9 which looks like it is too old.

                @Gadende Do old for XCP-ng or Windows Server?

                I don't think the former is true, and generally speaking VMs shouldn't be that aware of their hardware, though maybe I'm missing something.

                  @planedrop I found the issue. I was trying to install from a SMB repository on my desktop, creating a local ISO repository and installing from the local ISO worked

                      @Gadende Great!

                      As a test, I just installed Windows Server 2022 Standard/GUI on XCP 8.2.1 running on an HP DL G8 system without a problem. I used XO and a NFS mounted ISO repository. Install ran fine. Windows booted and ran updates without any issues. I even enabled UEFI secure boot and it was happy.
