I'm trying to upgrade from 8.1 to 8.2 and I'm getting a conflict error. Has anyone seen this before? Any suggestions on getting around it?

          Hi,

That's weird. Have you enable some 3rd party repo (like CentOS or anything else) in the past?

edit: that would be a lot safer to upgrade via the ISO directly: this creates a backup of your previous system so you can rollback easily.

I have not setup any other repos. I was following the upgrade instructions:

To workaround your situation, go for the ISO upgrade 🙂

Maybe someone here will have time to take a look if there's any obvious catch with the yum upgrade on your setup (if @stormi is around, but we are all very busy ATM)

We'll do a quick test to see if it can be easily reproduced when upgrading an XCP-ng 8.1 to the current XCP-ng 8.2 + all updates. It's possible that there was a change in the packaging which broke it and that there is an easy fix for it.

I can confirm that there is an issue. A recent update changed the packaging in a way that causes this conflict. I will fix it.
