External console window/views.

Would really like to be able to use multiple consoles without having to log in a bunch of times. Either a way to launch a console externally via some tool or a window detach would help a bunch.
I suppose I could just SSH to hosts and use tmux with xen console?

Getting fed up of having to scroll through the same posts each visit?
