Incremental replication testing

Backups have the full backup retention, is there a similar process for Delta replication?
-
The backup retention is configure on the schedule that you create for the backup. There is also the
Full backup intervalsetting, which controls how often a full backup will be triggered.Does this answer your question?

@Danp sorry I more meant Cr testing. Backup testing involves restoring the VM, is there an option to test the Delta replication? I imagine an automation of cloning the VM, boot without network, check for existance of the management agent and if it does not boot it can mark the backup as failed and trigger a full backup?

Health check functionality is described in our documentation -- https://xen-orchestra.com/docs/backups.html#backup-health-check
-
I suppose this is just a general question regarding Backup Health Checks
The BHC enabled on a delta backup (rough process):
Delta/Full Backup > restore VM >check for guest tools > shutdown >delete the VMThe restored VM is deleted after each test or are all deleted after the entire delta backup completes?
-
The VM created for the health check is deleted after boot confirmation is achieved by seeing the Xen tools.
