i have two hosts, one with hba storage in raid 5 5.3tb and another running a deb vm with xo on it to manage both hosts.

im trying to install a windows server 2019 vm from template 2vcpu 4gb ram 90gb on the hba storage. the iso is a mounted nfs share with the iso residing on it.
the installation goes as planned until 52% then it fails and says,

windows cannot install required files. the file may be corrupt or missing. make sure all files required for installation are available, and restart the installation. Error code:0x80070570

what am i doing wrong? ive tried uefi and bios

the nfs share was having network connection difficulties, this was the cause. thanks for your suggestions.

Hello! I’d suggest checking and/or redownloading the iso image. It sounds like it didn’t download right, or upload right.

sure i can do that, its just that ive used this iso before. but i will try to redownload it. thanks for the pointer.
just not trusting anything i thought i knew coming from vmware to this platform. different naming conventions and layouts etc. second guessing everything when something doesnt go as it should.
              thanks again.

@jsox79 Hopefully that fixes it, odd if it doesn't though. I've run plenty of 2019 VMs on my XCP-ng installs, so things should work. If it happens again let us know.
