Failed upgrade to 8.3 now stuck on grub

System: Dell R620
XCP NG:8.2Got in through idrac and attempted to upgrade to 8.3. After a few minutes i received the following error
I went ahead and rebooted the system as that was the only option but not i get to the grub menu.
Cany anyone provide any pointers as to how i can rescue this server?

You could have use right key+Alt to get to another console to see the error logs. Anyway, I would restore the previous version by inserting the ISO again and rollback to 8.2

Yes, that's the whole point, during the first menus, you should be asked about Upgrade or restore previous version.

Now that im back on 8.2 where i can look in the filesystem to review the logs? -
Nevermind. Second time the upgrade went smoothly.

I have no idea why it failed initially, but at least you tested the magic rollback
